Why You'll Like It
A substantial home with the most breathtaking water views set in the charming creekside village of Malpas. Approached over a stepped pathway, pause for a moment on the sun terrace to take in the view. The spacious reception hall makes a fine introduction with doors leading through to the living space. The wonderful 24' living/dining room has a deep bay window making the most of the views. Double doors from here open through to the break fast room and also to the modern galley style kitchen, meaning that this whole area flows together well, yet can be closed off should you wish. The kitchen has a long run of work surface and units and there is plenty of space for appliances. A useful door opens to the garden. Heading upstairs, the master bedroom also has a bay window and there are two further bedrooms and a family bathroom. A wooden open tread timber ladder goes to the floored attic space which has velux style windows. Outside, the front garden is terraced and there is a good sized rear garden on several levels. A garage completes this individual home.
Where It Is
The creekside village of Malpas is highly sought after. Just two miles from the city of Truro, yet tranquil and with a feeling of being a world apart. There is an excellent pub/restaurant "The Heron Inn". The village follows a section of the Truro River and there is a small marina and yacht station. There are many lovely walks taking you off road towards St Clement and then Tresillian. It is hard to believe that this little waterside village is just a couple of miles from Truro and with a Southerly aspect enjoys lovely sunshine.
It's worth noting that the current owner rents an area of foreshore from the council. Please ask for further details.
