SUMMARY: WOW! This truly is one of the most incredible homes we've ever seen in the Tretherras area or indeed for that matter Newquay. Pound for Pound it's right up there with the very best of them, but with some highly individual features (most notably it's own lake) it is a completely unique totally wonderful home like no other we have ever seen.

The property was originally the built in the early 2000's as part of the Pondsmere development at the higher end of Bedowan Meadows. Already a sizeable detached home the property was further extended in the late 2000's to practically double its original size. Around this time the property also secured ownership of the adjoining lake making the plot easily the largest on Pondsmere. The end result is an absolutely incredible, vast, modern family home with accommodation approaching 2,400 square feet including five double bedrooms with three ensuites, three reception rooms and the most entrancing gardens, grounds and large private lake. The current vendors have vastly improved the property renovating throughout.

The viewing experience is breath taking and not something we can retell on paper, we'll briefly try within this summary, but we cannot stress enough that this is an absolute MUST view home!

The home is fantastic, but the best feature has to be saved for last...the gardens and lake! The huge circular lake is surrounded by meandering pathways, various seating areas, small jetty's, dense planting and a floating sun deck. The sun deck sit out over the water and has more than enough room for sun loungers, patio furniture or perhaps a great perch to cast a fishing line, we understand that the lake has many fish of varying species. It's accessed by a walkway which passes a rock formation waterfall pond that flows into the lake. Looking out over the lake there is a island duck house and stunning water feature. On the top side of the plot there is a formal lawn space large enough for children to safely play and next to this there are raised planters and beds to grow your own of you wish. There is side access around the property and rear access into the garage from here. The garage has main power within. In the summer months the lake fills with large water lilies and all year round it's a wildlife haven for birds, fish and more. On the day we viewed the sun was shining as we wondered around the lake in complete privacy, our troubles melted away, it felt like we could have been anywhere in the world, and we didn't want to leave - bliss!
